Unlike incandescent lights, LEDs give off very little heat ,making them ideally suited for applications where heat build up previously prevented illumination or meant that large expensive housings were needed. LED lighting solutions has created our own unique led line to save energy with energy saving light bulbs, creative effects lighting or mood lighting.
LEDs can now be fitted into decorative fittings for creative illumination without worrying about excessive heat causing potential fires. Parents no longer need to fear skin burns when their children touch hot incandescent bulbs. LED down lights are also available in soothing colours to help babies sleep and are totally safe to touch.
Signage boxes no longer need to be very deep to accommodate fluorescent tubes. Slimline signs with LEDs fitted along the side of the box can create very effective illumination while taking up less space and using less electricity.
There is also tremendous scope for applications in fridge lighting. The refrigerator does not have to work harder to overcome the heat given off by the lights if LEDs are used. This saves a tremendous amount of energy.
LEDs used for plant growth now mean that expensive climate control systems to overcome the heat given off by outdated incandescent systems are no longer needed.
