LED Lighting SA has spent the last 18 months working in collaboration with Romano Signs to design a more sophisticated, low maintenance till point number for Pick & Pay Hyper Markets.
The sleek, clean look of the new Till point numbers uses perspex & LEDs. The till number changes colour depending on whether the till is opened or closed. The solution also includes RF functionality, where should the till operator require assistance a signal is sent to the supervisors cell phone indicating the till number, and the nature of the problem. This replaces the old system where a loud annoying buzzer was activated, which often only added to the annoyance of already impatient customers.
